Job Overview
We are looking for a Senior Linux Administrator to maintain, optimize, and secure our Linux infrastructure, ensuring continuous 24x7x365 service availability. This role requires strong expertise in automation, scripting, and system performance management.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain and support Linux systems to ensure 24x7x365 uptime.
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code using Ansible and Terraform.
- Automate manual tasks to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Script with Python and Bash to support system operations.
- Manage and troubleshoot open-source databases: Cassandra, PostgreSQL, Redis.
- Support Docker operations and troubleshooting.
- Oversee data center operations, monitoring, capacity planning, and optimization.
- Participate in on-call rotations for after-hours support.
- Follow ITIL best practices for system and service management.
- Analyze logs and system performance exceptions.
- Manage upgrades, patches, and deployment documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Strong experience with Linux OS: RedHat, CentOS, Debian.
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, Cassandra.
- Knowledge of VMware, SAN, networking protocols (DNS, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP, SNMP).
- Proficient in Shell, Perl, or Python scripting.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience working in global-scale environments.
